New ABER WebSite

In its areas of activity, ABER is one of the most important manufacturers in the international market. The close relationship with its customers, over the years, has produced a loyal and expanding customer base. ABER currently occupies a space of 7,300 square meters, its production and administration area being 4,500 square meters. The patents of invention obtained and the constant introduction of new products are the result of the search for innovation and dynamism. This permanent search for technological progress is the guarantee that it offers its customers the best solution for the task at hand.

THE PROJECT

More than questions of a visual or aesthetic nature, not neglecting these naturally, the great challenge in the development of the new ABER website was related to functionality, versatility and ease of use.

Just to give 3 examples.

Example 1
With ranges of products that have more than 200 references, it was important to provide tools to the user of the website, that assisted him in selecting the products best suited to his case.

It was important to have a simple and intuitive tool that would complement the use of technical product tables, which, due to the complexity and multiplicity of uses, can have dozens of rows and columns with different product references.

We were able to incorporate on the page of each product, in the catalog section of the website, a tool that allows us to identify immediately the most suitable reference, through the menu selection of 2 or 3 simple answers (already filled in) by the user, about the intended use.
Much simpler and faster than consulting long and complex tables that often resulted in an overload of the company’s BackOffice with issues that in this way can be easily answered.

Example 2
The second example is related with the downloads section of technical catalogs. Given the fierce competition of the sector, there is certain information that the company can provide without restrictions, but another one that requires more discretion. On the same page of each product we can simultaneously provide free access information and information that requires a pre-registration of the user, with the completion of a set of information, one of optional nature other mandatory completion.
With the e-mail reception of the user’s pre-registration, based on the analysis of the data submitted, the company decides whether or not to activate the user, that is, whether or not to grant access to that information restricted to the general public.

Example 3
The third example is related to the orders and budget requests. It was important to our client that orders for products on the website could only be made by registered customers. This part was simple. But the client intended at the same time that an unregistered user could request information or make a budget request.

There is nothing that can not be solved …
The visitor to the product catalog section of the website only sees and has access to a “Request for Quote” button on the product page. The client, or registered user, has access to a second “Order” button.

….

The WebSite was developed in HTML5 with Responsive Design, Javascript and JQuery, being totally “Mobile Frienfly

It has a CMS – Content Management System and a CRM – Customer Relationship Management.
